Endeavour College - Stories of Endeavour
Did you know that over 40% of all students at Endeavour College speak at least one language other than English at home? In fact, together, we represent approximately 45 nations and 7 continents. This cultural tapestry is only one aspect of the diversity that makes us special and although we are a Christian school, we practice many different religions and spiritualities. We know that each and every one of us has a unique story to tell. Through the conversations in this podcast series, we will share some of our stories, learn about each other, and celebrate the power and value of storytelling. Some stories will entertain you, some will move you, others will inspire you or surprise you. In this podcast series you will hear stories of Love, Courage, Forgiveness, and Hope. Stories of hardship, of triumph, and Stories of Endeavour.
This podcast series is proudly produced on Kaurna Country by students and staff at Endeavour College. If you would like to share your story with us, we would love to hear from you! And remember... we all have a story to tell.
Endeavour College - Stories of Endeavour
Episode 5 - Gjevika Poongavanam
Some people are interested in sport and spend most of their time practicing in preparation for games or events, others are passionate about the arts and music. Many of us work hard to achieve academically while others devote time to family and to caring and advocating for others. And then, there’s those who do all of the above. Gjevika Poongavanam is a busy girl indeed but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a smile on her face. I’m really keen to hear her story today. Let’s begin.
We hope you enjoyed the first season of Stories of Endeavour and are equally enjoying the second season. We certainly enjoyed sharing our stories with you.
